Cisco is the latest company to join the expanding list of tech companies that have withdrawn their services from Russia as a direct result of their disregard for Ukrainian sovereignty.
Cyberwarfare has been an increasingly contentious aspect of many cyberattacks, especially in recent years, and this campaign by Russia has been pivotal in shaping the future of IT security in warfare.
In response to the unfortunate situation in Ukraine, a new wave of hacking activities has started. In fact, the cyber-crime rate has tripled in Ukraine since Russia’s recent interference. Many security-related companies have stepped up their effort to combat this issue.
Furthermore, software development companies are getting out of Russia and choosing to conduct business with countries that support Ukrainian cyber-freedom rather than supporting Russian aggression.
Cisco Supporting Ukraine
Due to ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, Cisco, along with several other tech companies, decided to stand with Ukraine.

However, Cisco has not justified the reason behind this decision, but it clearly depicts that they are taking their stand with Ukraine like other tech companies.
