“I began my journey in rural India, with a humble educational background and limited access to technology,” Kumar says. His background led to an academic career in geography.
Once he gained exposure to computers, he saw technology’s applicability to land, digital infrastructure, and people as interconnected systems.
With this insight, he began combining geographic thinking with computing. This perspective laid the foundation for his work in GIS-based decision systems and infrastructure engineering.
“As opportunities emerged, I moved to cities across India, continuously upgrading my skills and adapting to new environments,” Kumar says.
