Hackers have leaked footage and clips from several unreleased Netflix anime shows, including full episodes, online. The content was stolen from one of Netflix’s post-production partners, causing a stir in the entertainment industry.

Two sources have identified the compromised partner as Iyuno, a media-localization service provider based in Burbank, California.
Founded in 1974, Iyuno has a long history of providing subtitling and dubbing services. It has worked on 35 million minutes of content subtitled and 10 million minutes dubbed in over 100 languages.
In a statement released on August 9, Iyuno acknowledged the breach, stating, “Iyuno is aware of a recent security issue involving unauthorized access to confidential content. Protecting our clients’ confidentiality and ensuring the security of their content is our highest priority.”
The company is actively investigating the breach to mitigate potential risks and identify those responsible.
The breach affected Netflix and raised concerns about other major entertainment companies that rely on Iyuno’s services. Iyuno’s client list includes industry giants like Disney, HBO, A+E Networks, Amazon Studios, BBC Studios, DreamWorks, and eOne.
