Atos Acquire Indian Cyber Security Firm Paladion to Expand Threat Detection & Response Operation

A European IT consulting company Atos reported that they have acquired an India Cybersecurity firm, Paladin on Wednesday to expand their threat detection and response operation. T

his acquisition of threat detection and response operation will build the next generation of Atos’ Prescriptive Security Operations Center offering.

Atos, headquarter is located in Reston, Virginia, and the Paladion was established in 2000, and since then, it has increased to more than 800 employees and cybersecurity specialists from all over the world with more than $29m turnover in 2019.

Paladion is lead by the head of the company, Rajat Mohanty, and the company joins its cybersecurity experts with exclusive Managed Detection & Response (MDR) program and Atos global Security Operations Centers (SOCs) so that they can get faster security results.

Atos is a European IT consulting company, that has around 110,000 employees in 73 countries all over the world, and it has an annual revenue of nearly €12 billion.

It’s one of the best European cloud cybersecurity company that provides end-to-end Orchestrated Hybrid Cloud, various business applications, Big data, and more importantly, it provides digital workplace solutions. 

Moreover, Atos is a worldwide cloud group and an information technology partner and works with the Olympic and Paralympic Games; thus operates its brand Atos, unify, and Atos Syntel.

Paladion

Paladion has developed a lot since its development, they also increased their number of employees, as till now nearly 800 employees are working in Paladion.

However, Paladion is acknowledged and rated by self-governing technology advisory firms for their Managed Detection and Response operation, Cloud Security, and Vulnerability Management, which is secured by their registered Artificial Intelligence platform – AIsaac.

According to the Atos, if they combine with Paladion, then together, they will bring their technology and business knowledge assets to create the extended detection and response capability that every customer needs.

They will also adopt hybrid and multi-cloud transformation policies for their company.
